Meet the Clinicians:
Katie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and has been practicing clinically since 2007. She provides individual and family or couples coaching for adults facing a variety of issues. Every therapist works differently, and Katie sees her role to be to come beside each client, work together to get really clear about all aspects of what is going on in the here and now, then work to identify where the client wants to be instead, and walk beside them from point A to point B. Katie takes a down to earth approach, looks at mind, body and spiritual factors, and is a solutions focused clinician.
Emily Sparks, LCSW
My name is Emily, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the helping profession since 2007. I obtained my BSW and MSW from Florida State University’s College of Social Work and have practiced in a variety of settings.
I have clinical experience with military families, aging and end-of-life care, child and adolescent behavior, as well as couples counseling. I believe in meeting clients where they are and being a companion in their journey of self-improvement.
I use a variety of therapy modalities to include cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, narrative therapy, “walk and talks”, as well as other physical activities while providing therapeutic care.
